Lauro Adolfo De Bosis (December 9, 1901 – October 3, 1931) was an Italian poet and aviator.
In 1928 he won a silver medal in the art competitions of the Olympic Games for his "Icarus". When he turned anti-fascist, he was shot down by Benito Mussolini's airplanes over the Tyrrhenian Sea. Thornton Wilder dedicated his novel Ides of March (1948) to him, suggesting a parallel between de Bosi and Catullus.
